This policy explains what Vibey collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Vibey website and Vibey products.
Referral attribution
If you arrive through a referral link, a first-party cookie remembers that code for up to 30 days. You can change or remove the code at checkout. Subscription referral records retain the original customer attribution and eligibility dates for commission accounting. This cookie is separate from affiliate sign-in.
What we collect
When you visit. Our host records standard log data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps.
When you buy. We store your email address, the Stripe identifiers for your purchase, and the license record it creates. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
When you activate. Activating a Vibey product stores a one-way hash of a device identifier so a license can be tied to its allowed computers. The hash cannot be reversed into your hardware details.
When you contact us. We keep what you send so we can reply.
When you manage a subscription. We use the email address you enter to send a private Stripe billing link. If you choose to explain why you are cancelling, that message is sent to Vibey so we can learn from it.
Affiliate applications and payouts. We keep the name, email address, social links and application details you submit, your referral code and approval status, and commission and payout records. If you provide a payout destination, we use it to arrange your payouts. Approved affiliate access is linked to your membership.
In-app feedback. When you choose to send feedback from StreamSpark, we receive your message, the app-provided diagnostic details included with it, and an optional reply address. This is a submission you initiate, not permission to scan your PC. Avoid including Activation Keys or other private information in your message.
How we use it
To deliver what you bought, verify activations, provide support, and keep the service running. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
No advertising or third-party analytics tools are configured. We use only the storage needed to operate the site.
Who else is involved
A small number of providers help run Vibey: Stripe for payments, an email provider to send your Activation Key, and hosting and database providers. Each receives only what it needs.
Cloudflare Workers AI. StreamSpark has an optional feature, Smart Memory Understanding, which is off by default and unavailable in Local Only mode. When a streamer turns it on, the wording of the memory being reviewed — that message text and a little surrounding context, not the memory database — is sent through Vibey to Cloudflare Workers AI to be interpreted, and the reading comes straight back. We do not store or log that text. StreamSpark keeps reading messages on its own if the feature is off or the provider is unavailable.
Optional StreamSpark sync
Sync between PCs is off by default. If you enable it, StreamSpark encrypts saved viewer details on your PC before sending them through our existing hosting and database providers. The service stores encrypted records, opaque record identifiers, versions, transfer checkpoints, device names, last connection times and license-linked access records. It does not receive your sync encryption key or readable viewer memories.
A private connection file transfers your encryption key to your second PC. Keep it private and delete your copies after setup. The server cannot recover a lost key. Removing a PC blocks future sync access but cannot erase data or keys already saved on that PC.
Encrypted current records and deletion markers remain stored so an offline PC can catch up later. Pausing or disconnecting sync does not delete the cloud copy or your local data. Contact us to request removal of the stored sync group. Keep separate backups for each PC's local LIVE history.
How long we keep it
Purchase and license records are kept while a license is valid, and afterwards where we are required to retain them for tax or accounting purposes.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Contact us and we will help. Deleting a purchase record may end the license attached to it.
